Left at Home

Left at Home is a semi ambient piece, featuring Hebe Cooke on the saxophone. This piece was written in an evening during a period when different friendships and relationships from my home town were facing difficulties, with the longing melody of the saxophone an expression of my train of thought as I lay in bed thinking it all over. During the composition of this piece, I enjoyed exploring the contrasting timbres of the synthetic piano drones and vocal pads, with the roundness and warmth of the live saxophone.
